Overview

We are looking for a Solution Architect with 10+ years of experience who can lead cloud modernization initiatives end-to-end from understanding legacy systems to designing scalable, cloud-native solutions. This role is about transforming existing systems, not just building new ones. You will define how applications move from monolithic/legacy setups to modern, scalable, and resilient architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end architecture for cloud modernization projects
  • Analyze existing systems and define modernization strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild)
  • Design cloud-native architectures using AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Define migration roadmap, dependencies, and rollout strategy
  • Lead system decomposition from monolith to microservices/modular architecture
  • Design scalable APIs, integrations, and data migration strategies
  • Ensure systems are secure, resilient, and cost-optimized in the cloud
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure correct implementation
  • Identify risks early and define practical migration trade-offs
  • Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
  • Act as the technical owner in client discussions and architecture decisions

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system design, or engineering leadership
  • Strong experience in cloud architecture and system modernization
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Proven experience working with legacy system transformation
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems & microservices, APIs and system integrations, Data migration and database modernization
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, automation)
  • Ability to balance business goals, cost, and technical decisions
  • Strong decision-making ability under ambiguity and constraints
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
