We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Engineering with a strong background in enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or large-scale application development. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of proven technical leadership, hands-on engineering expertise, and a deep understanding of building scalable, secure, and high-quality software products. This role requires someone who can confidently wear both the startup hat (speed, adaptability, ownership) and the enterprise hat (process, governance, quality).
Provide strategic technical direction for cloud-based and enterprise SaaS product development.
Architect and guide the implementation of scalable backend systems using Java, Python, .NET, or similar technologies.
Build a strong engineering culture grounded in ownership, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Drive talent development, hiring, and succession planning for the engineering function.
Actively explore and integrate AI, automation, and modern engineering practices into the product roadmap.
Evaluate emerging technologies and guide the team in adopting the right tools, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
Work closely with executive leadership on technical strategy, product planning, and long-term architecture decisions.
10+ years of professional experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud solutions, or full-scale application development.
Strong expertise in at least one major backend stack: Java, Python, .NET, or equivalent.
Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
Significant experience leading engineering teams and managing technical projects in an Agile environment.
Demonstrated involvement or active exploration in AI, automation, or machine-learning-based systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and switch between startup agility and enterprise-grade execution.
