Use Case in Healthcare Industry

Report on AMR Data Collection, Verification, and Reporting

Challenge: NPHL needed to collect monthly AMR test reports from 24 surveillance sites in the GLASS format, but inconsistent local LMS systems and resource constraints led to incomplete, inaccurate, and delayed reporting.

Solution: Quickfox Consulting implemented an automation solution to collect data from all sites, standardize it for GLASS, validate it in real time, and generate reports automatically—eliminating manual intervention.

Impact:

  • Reduced human effort: Staff no longer needed to spend time on manual data collection and entry, freeing them for higher-value tasks.
  • On-time reporting: Eliminated delays caused by manual consolidation and errors.
  • Improved data quality: Real-time validation ensured accurate and reliable AMR reports.
  • Minimal disruption: Laboratory workflows continued smoothly while reports were automatically collected.

The automation initiative transformed NPHL’s AMR reporting process by making data collection and consolidation more efficient, generating reliable validated reports, and ensuring timely dissemination to stakeholders. Overall, the project strengthened Nepal’s national AMR surveillance, aligned it with international standards, and enabled evidence-based public health decisions.
